It is as it should be
6 years ago, I disembarked an aeroplane in the capital, Kinshasa. What I saw that day really opened my eyes. Who would have thought that all the chaos, all the mayhem, all the war, all the famine, all the death and suffering would become an intergral part of my very existence. I surely have grown as a human in this godforsaken place called the DRC. Tomorrow I leave Mbandaka for the final time..and I am sad.
Or is it sadness?? A mixture of emotions I thought I would never experience..I leave behind friends...who have become family..I leave behind the reason for being who I am
its time to move on...

Thank you for sharing this place and its people with all of us. I have been inspired, moved, angered and had my eyes opened to so many things through your pictures and journals. Your presence and the imprint you have left there and on all of us will last a very long time and will get passed along. Safe journey and I can't wait to see what is next.
i am looking forward to the rest of my life
and hopefully
i can keep capturing my perspective of this world we live in
I wish you good luck in your new beginning!
