SO!! .. I went to see Kurt Darren

It is as it should be

and everyone goes

myself and the gorgeous

(she really looked absobloomenlootely stunning), =cfoto went to see Kurt Darren at the Barnyard Theater. I really enjoyed myself..and I realised the more rum I drank, the more I enjoyed the show...

and a couple of

deviants pop up....

It is like this...

Myself and =cfoto come from completely different backgrounds and cultures..although we speak english, she grew up afrikaans. I had no afrikaans friends, couldnt speak the language to save my life...and then I do a foolish thing, like going to watch an afrikaans singer, live on stage...AND...then i stick out like a sore thumb..now the shaved head is one thing..but i was the only colored person in that theater...and thats scary

the sound wasnt too good..and I could not make out most of the words he was singing...but ay..it did not matter..all that did matter was that I really enjoyed a night out with =cfoto ..that was the most important.

We will leave for OZ on Friday..and I might not be on DA for a while..but expect some photographs when we get back..

Your experience reminds me a day in Uppington. My friend and I drifted away from the group of tourists we were travelling with, and suddenly found ourselves being the two soles white girls in a large crowded street.

That was not exactly scary but that was ... really really strange !

Actually our tow guides were a Swazi and a "hippie afrikaans". During the trip, the Swazi started to speak Afrikaans, because the tourists could not get it. And the other guide explained us that he refused to speak his mother tongue for more than a decade. That was quite a time ago, but that was the first time I understoof language was so much more than words.
